The Problem With Labels
There’s something subtle happening that most people don’t question,
Words.
Labels.
Names.
They don’t just describe things, they decide where information gets stored in your mind before you’ve even had a chance to think about it.
Call someone a “conspiracy theorist” and most people don’t hear “someone asking intelligent questions.”
They see an image.
Extreme. Unstable. Not credible.
Filed. Dismissed. Ignored.
The same thing has happened with the word “prepper.”
For many people, that doesn’t mean capable or responsible.
It means fringe. Fearful. A bit much.
So again — the idea gets dismissed before it’s even explored.
What Prepping Actually Is (When You Strip Away the Label)
Let’s remove the word for a moment.
What are we actually talking about?
- Being able to feed yourself
- Having access to clean water
- Keeping yourself warm (or cool)
- Having some level of independence from fragile controlled systems
That’s not extreme.
That’s what every species on this planet does naturally.
That’s what humans did… until very recently.

From Self-Reliance to Dependence
Modern life has gradually removed our ability to take care of ourselves.
Most people in the UK today:
- Cannot grow food
- Cannot source water
- Cannot function without constant access to systems they don’t control
- Cannot manage their own health naturally
- Do not even know how to feed themselves or their animals healthily anymore
For me, this raises a really important question:
If you can’t take care of your basic needs… who does that leave you dependent on?
Because dependence always comes with conditions.
Rules.
Restrictions.
Compliance.
Why “Conspiracy Theorist” Really Means “Questioning Adult”
Here’s where I it gets interesting …
The people who are labelled “conspiracy theorists” are often the same people asking:
- Why are we so dependent?
- Why are systems so fragile?
- Why are we discouraged from questioning them?
At its core, this isn’t about believing wild ideas.
It’s about no longer blindly believing everything you’re told.
It’s the moment you stop believing in Father Christmas.
Not because you’ve become cynical…
…but because you’ve grown up.
The Programming We Don’t See
Most of what we think is “normal” has been taught.
Conditioned.
Repeated.
We’ve been shaped by:
- Parents
- Schooling
- Media
- Films and “tell-a-vision”
- Culture
- Social Media (yes all our feeds are different for a reason!)
And then there are the less obvious layers:
- Chemical-laden food systems
- Water quality issues
- Environmental exposure
- Toxic vaccines and drugs that are normalised
- The constant shaping of fear and behaviour
No other species would design a food system that requires protective gear to apply chemicals… and then eat it.
That’s not intelligence.
That’s disconnection.
We’ve Forgotten the Basics
We argue about:
- Vegan vs carnivore
- Organic vs non-organic
- Supplements vs pharmaceuticals
And miss the obvious point:
Start with real food that hasn’t been poisoned.
That alone would change more than most debates ever will.
A Simple Reality Check
Ask yourself this, honestly:
How do I actually earn my money?
Not just what you do — but how the system around that works. So who’s really in control of your day-to-day life? Because when someone controls your time, they’re controlling you.
Then go a layer deeper.
How much of that money do you ever truly keep?
You’re taxed when you earn it.
Before it even reaches your account in many cases.
Then you’re taxed again when you spend it.
Food.
Fuel.
Clothing.
Services.
You’re taxed when you buy a house.
Taxed while you own it.
And taxed again if you sell it.
You’re taxed on your energy.
Your travel.
Your business.
Your investments.
And in many cases… you’re taxed when you die.
Now pause for a moment and really sit with that.
This is more than just about whether about whether tax should or shouldn’t exist.
It’s about awareness.
It’s about recognising how much of your life is tied into systems that operate far beyond your control.
So for me, this raises a really important question:
How much of my life is actually mine?
How much control do I really have over:
-
- My income
- My food
- My health
- My environment
- My ability to take care of myself and the people (and animals) I love
- MY THOUGHTS and my mind!
When you start to look at it properly, you realise something quite confronting:
Most people are far more dependent than they think.
And the key point here is this:
We’ve been taught to see this as normal.
To accept it.
To not question it.
To stay just comfortable enough not to look too closely.
That’s what programming does.
It doesn’t feel like control.
It feels like everyday life.
So Where Does That Leave Us?
Prepping is not paranoia.
It’s responsibility.
It’s what being an adult should actually look like.
Not just for you — but for your family, your animals, and your environment.

Start Small (This Is Where Most People Get It Wrong)
This isn’t about doing everything.
It’s about doing something.
Imagine if this weekend you:
- Took stock of your life
- Picked one area
- Took one step
Food.
Water.
Energy.
Health.
Skills.
Just one.
Why Wait for a Crisis?
People only change when they’re forced to.
- Illness
- Financial pressure
- War
- System breakdown
That’s when people suddenly take responsibility.
So the real question is:
Why wait?
This Is The Work I’m Moving Even more Into
This is where my work is evolving.
Helping people reconnect with:
- Real, practical self-reliance
- Natural health and resilience
- Clear thinking and discernment
Not fear-based.
Not extreme.
Just grounded, honest, and practical.
For you, your family, and your animals.
What’s One Thing You Can Do This Week?
If this resonates, don’t overthink it.
Just ask yourself:
What’s one area I could take more responsibility for this week?
Start there.
Why my work is different.
I help people step away from panic, not live in it.
And I keep things clear, not overwhelming.
I don’t separate human health from animal health, because in the real world, they were never separate.
Modern problems need modern awareness.
But the solutions? They’ve always been here.
Biology has rules.
Nature has laws.
But what we’re exposed to now is altering both in ways most people don’t even realise.
My role is to help you reconnect the dots.
To understand what’s actually driving the changes you’re seeing
in your body, your animals, and your environment…
…and then give you practical, grounded ways to respond.
No extremes.
No blind trust.
No noise.
Just clear thinking, real solutions, and a return to what actually works.
If you feel that shift happening in you, you’re not alone.
If this resonates, you’ll find more of this in my work with both humans and animals — links below:
